If you remember I enlightened a small but exceptional segment of the New York population to the awesomeness that are Naniamo Bars last weekend. As a result I was left with ample cream base that I didn’t want to go to waste. I decided to try my hand at a quick and simple batch of cream biscuits. These sweet and savory baked goods are a lot less work than their butter laden counterparts, and make significantly less mess. As such you don’t have to spend your time cutting in any butter which is a real win in my kitchen. Extra bonus; everything can be accomplished in one bowl so your kitchen won’t look like a flour bomb went off. So if you really want to wow your dinner guests with a batch of homemade biscuits these ones give the appearance of complexity when in fact they are quick, simple and painless. Enjoy!
